If you happened to come across online shopping website Vicky.in for car/bike accessories & parts, it is highly recommended not to trust the online shopping website for any deal.
Most of the customers who have done any purchase or transaction with the website are highly unsatisfied with the service and product quality. A quick search on the internet about Vicky.in will show mostly negative reviews by customers which are genuine reviews and feedback from unsatisfied customers.
With thousands on online shopping websites mushrooming on the internet, it is difficult to ascertain which websites are genuine and which ones are fake. Some websites are legitimately trying to make a business, while some online shopping websites like Vicky.in are trying to scam customers and run a business unethically.
Here are some quick points why you should not do business with Vicky.in
- Most of the parts shown on the website are out of stock
- The product you may receive might be used or damaged
- You may not receive all the products if you order multiple items
- Most importantly, after you order, they do not respond to your emails
- Their customer care number +91 7502565872 is never answered
- If products you ordered are not in stock, they do not inform the customers
- They do not refund the entire amount if you insist on a refund (if they respond to emails)
- They try to cross-sell another product if the product ordered is not available
- Shipping time is very delayed
- The MRP of the product will always be scratched off so you cannot see the actual price
So the points above clearly indicate that Vicky.in is not to be trusted and you will be extremely fortunate if you get your products as expected and on time.
The reason for this review is that I am also a ‘victim’ of their shabby website and customer service. Before ordering, on enquiring through email, they promptly responded saying that all products are in stock and they will send the parts which I require. After placing the order, there was no response. After sending them couple of reminder emails (which they never responded), finally the product was shipped after a week. Only one product was received out of multiple products ordered, and again they never responded to any follow up emails. As mentioned above, their phone number does not work. After sending them a strong email insisting on a complete refund, they asked me to send a picture of the product that I have received. Only after sending the picture, they agreed to refund a partial amount. I did not argue about the partial refund because it was not a significant amount, but feeling cheated by a fraudster company which does business unethically is unacceptable and every attempt must be made to highlight these unlawful business practices to ensure other customers also do not suffer a similar plight. A handful of these fraudulent companies brings a bad name to the online e-commerce industry.
