Bharat Sanchar Nigam limited (BSNL) has announced new 3G data packs for its northern circle, which includes states like Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Up East, UP West and Uttarakhand. These data packs will be unlimited and will offer high speed data connectivity to its customers.
The telecom company has hence launched six new 3G unlimited data packs for its north zone users priced at Rs. 351, Rs. 451, Rs. 651, Rs. 751, Rs. 851 and Rs. 951 respectively. However these packs aren’t truly unlimited, but they come with FUP data limit, after which a consumer can enjoy unlimited data at lower speeds.
STV value | Data FUP limit (3G/2G) | Unlimited data speed post FUP | Validity |
---|---|---|---|
Rs 351 | 1.5 GB | 80 Kbps | 28 Days |
Rs 451 | 2.5 GB | ||
Rs 651 | 5.5 GB | ||
Rs 751 | 7 GB | ||
Rs 851 | 8 GB | ||
Rs 951 | 9 GB |
BSNL’s network in the north zone circles doesn’t offer a very high, but its 2G presence in the region is quite good. It is to be noted that the plans offered by BSNL are a bit expensive in comparison to the ones offered by the private companies like Vodafone, Airtel and Idea. These private companies have slashed their rates up to 67% in the recent weeks to counter Jio. In such a scenario, BSNL’s 3G plan seems to be on the costlier edge.
