If you are using a USB Data Card or USB Dongle on your laptop/computer to connect to the internet, you will need to set the correct Access Point Name (APN) settings of your telecom provider in the Mobile Application software in order to connect successfully. Most of the softwares provided along with the Data Card/ USB Dongle will have all the setting preconfigured, however incase you have messed the settings or need to enter the settings in a software which is not configured, you will need to enter the APN settings manually.
To enter the settings manually, follow the steps below. These are generic instructions and most of the software should have similar options.
- Go to Tools > Option > Connection Type > NDIS or RAS Modem (For 2g sim) > Click OK
- Go to Tools > Option >Profile Management > Select New > Enter Service Provider Name into Profile name > Select Static > Enter APN as per the list given below > Press Save Button
- Go to Connection – Select appropriate Service Provider – Click Connect

We are using Airtel whenever LAN is not working, but while connecting Airtel dongle we have to remove the LAN cable & due to this we are unable to use our system software which is connected to LAN, request you to kindly advice the setting, how can we use the system software when LAN is not working & we connect the PC by Airtel Dongle.

hi, I have a tablet with slot for 3g sim card. instead of using the dongle, I want to use the SIM card slot. I have removed the sim from the dongle and inserted in the sim slot in my windows 10 tablet. the tablet show the 3g network. how to I configure the further details to connect to the internet.
