Bharti Airtel has come up with a new 3G/4G night data pack for its customers. Valid for 28 days, the pack is priced at Rs. 125. The data pack will provide 1 GB, which can be used between 12am to 6am. This offer has been launched after Airtel announced the ‘Get 100% extra data for Nights’ scheme, which offers data packs between 500 MB to 20 GB.
A similar pack was launched by Vodafone a few days back, which offered 1GB night pack at around Rs. 75, however valid just for one night. Idea Cellular introduced the same pack in three of its circles in a somewhat similar price range offering 1 GB. Comparatively, the validity of 28 days that Airtel is giving its customers in just Rs 125 seems to be more beneficial and cost effective for the users.
At a time when Reliance Jio is about to make a launch commercially, this data pack introduced by Airtel will give data benefits to the customers. Airtel is currently focusing on offering ‘added services’ and ‘extras’ to its customers. Hence, more revamp on data packs is expected from the company in the near future. Recent telecom reports have shown that ARPU of Airtel data has grown higher than its competitors in the last quarter, drawn by their 3G/4G network expansion and campaigns.
