Google Adsense Payment India EFT

Google Adsense has officially rolled out International Wire Transfer or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for Indian publishers. In an official email to all India Google Adsense publishers on 28th April 2014, they have announced about upcoming updates to AdSense account. Earlier on 5th March 2014, Google Adsense had rolled out the Beta testing of the International Wire Transfer payment mode.

Currently Indian publishers payment mode is only Check payment which takes anywhere between 30-60 days to receive the Check and often publishers complain about delay in receiving the payment. Incase they do not receive the check, reissue of checks further delays the process. Now with the EFT mode, publishers will receive their payment within 3-5 days automatically. There will be a minimal fee and exchange rates are also believed to be favorable.

Publishers will be required to provide specific information for International Wire Transfer like SWIFT code. Publishers who’s Bank’s do not have SWIFT code will not be able to accept EFT payment.

Below is the complete email from Google.

Hello,

We’d like to let you know about important upcoming changes affecting your payment options.

As you may have heard, we’re currently rolling out improvements to the Payments page in AdSense. The upgrades are designed to provide you with
a better, faster payments experience, and your account will be upgraded shortly.

After this upgrade, we will issue payments by international wire transfer. Wire transfer is a fast, secure, and reliable alternative to
receiving payments by check, and you will typically receive your payment much faster with this payment method. Google pays most fees involved with sending wire transfer payments and does not charge a fee for this service. We recommend that you ask your bank about any fees or commissions they may charge for receiving wire transfers. Visit our Help Center for full details about receiving payments by wire transfer
(https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/3372975).

With this change, we will no longer offer payments by check. Please continue with receiving and depositing any outstanding checks as we
make this transition. The normal 60-day waiting period from the check issue date will apply to check cancellations, and additional time may
be necessary to incorporate the canceled amount into the next scheduled payment.

These changes will only affect payments in future months. If you are scheduled to receive a payment this month, it will be issued using your
current form of payment selection.

We’ll send you a future update after the upgrade is complete. We appreciate your patience during this transition period.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team
